Terms
v1.4 · 07-08-2026 · hockeyhub.eu
1. Who we are
HockeyHub is an independent platform, based in the Netherlands. Contact: hello@hockeyhub.eu
2. What HockeyHub is
A notice board for hockey. Users post their own requests and respond to each other. We are not a party to anything you agree between yourselves, and we do not handle payments.
3. We check nothing in advance
If you post without an account we first send a confirmation e-mail: your listing appears only after you click the button in it. That tells us the e-mail address is yours, and nothing more. We do not verify identity, qualifications, certificates, background checks or authority to act for a club. All information comes from the person posting. Do your own checks before making arrangements or transferring money.
4. Your listing, your responsibility
Post only what is accurate, what you are authorised to post, and what you hold the rights to. Do not include personal data of others, and never that of anyone under 18: no name, photo or contact details. No longer accurate? Edit or remove it using your management link.
5. Availability profiles: 18 and over
Younger? Ask your club to post a request for you.
6. Tournaments and camps belong to others
They are run by the organiser named, not by us. Registration, payment, cancellation, insurance and supervision go directly through them, under their terms. Anything stated about supervision, screening or safety is the organiser’s statement; we do not verify it. Parents: check this with the organiser before registering. Participation is at your own risk.
7. Free
HockeyHub is currently free of charge. If we introduce paid services later, we will announce this in advance and state price and terms at the point of purchase.
8. No guarantees
We do our best to keep the platform working and current, but guarantee no availability, accuracy, responses or results.
9. We may step in
Listings that are inaccurate, misleading, concern minors or break the law will be removed. We say why, and you can object via hello@hockeyhub.eu.
10. Liability
We are not liable for what users post or do, for agreements between users, for third-party activities, or for outages. Where we are liable, this is limited to direct loss, capped at € 500 per event and € 2,500 per year. This limit does not apply to intent or wilful recklessness on our part, to personal injury, or where the law forbids it.
11. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of what you posted, those costs are yours.
12. Changes and transfer
We may amend these terms; active users get 30 days’ notice of material changes. HockeyHub will in time be held by a registered company; we may transfer these arrangements to it. You will be told in advance and may stop free of charge.
13. Law
Dutch law, the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of your own country. In case of discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
